Welcome to NOTT Dance the sixth Nottinghamshire dance festival 1995.

NOTT Dance is the major regional festival to highlight small scale new dance.

NOTT Dance offers you a programme of performances that shows off some of the best talent in the current regional and national dance scene.

NOTT Dance continues to be a focus for the making and presenting of new work by regional companies. Join us on the ‘Dance Highway’ with four new NOTT Dance commissions and two Phoenix Art commissions. Book now for the final festival weekend and see all six shows over two days.

NOTT Dance welcomes Dance4, the National Dance Agency for the East Midlands, as a new major partner for the festival. With financial support from Dance4 and Nottinghamshire New Arts Work we are pleased to premiere works by internationally renowned dance makers, Yolande Snaith and Emiyn Claid. Both of these new works have been part-made in Nottingham.

NOTT dance offers a range of educational work accompanying the main performance, from a youth dance forum, to choreographic workshop days and regular classes.

I hope you enjoy these two intensive weeks of dance activity and experimentation.
